I Call These "Skip" Jigs
I have changed my ways, lol.I have always liked a big puffy jig.Thought to myself "why"?I see all of Skip's jigs with a skinny little tail and thought that I would try a couple out. So,I made a couple of each. All in bucktail.1/8 oz. and 1/16 oz.Still have a lot of hair compared to Skip's.

Looking good enough to catch fish.

Better get the grease hot!
-
They look great to me and I bet the fish will like them too. :)

Some good lookin Bucktails. The brown ones look like Smallmouth to me. I'm gonna try splitting the bucktail and trying to create 2 tails instead of one, trying to mimic Crawfish claws in a simple way. Good job, as usual. Now show me fish. Heck, I wish I could show me fish. Gotta get home first.

Look like they should work, but I am not a buck tail guy. I tie some for people, but I don't fish it my self.
Looks nice though,

Looking good. I have tied a lot of hair jigs and I don't use as much hair on my jigs as when I started either. Be sure to post pics of your catch.
