Never heard of a Swamp Ghost. Do you know where they were made? 501 is an Arkansas area code and covers half the state so they could be about anywhere.

They probably weren't in business long, but I would like to get one.
I go through Quitman sometime when I am at the lake so I will try to ask about it.
The only manufacturing in Quitman AR just a few years ago was a couple of utility and stock trailer building shops.
There was a boat manufacturing company in Quitman, but it got blown away in the tornado. They have relocated to Mt. View and are in business. I can't remember the name, but it wasn't Swamp Ghost. I have been told that they make a really good boat and will do it to your specs if that's what you want. Maybe someone else here will remember the name, or you might call the Mt. View chamber of commerce or the Stone County courthouse.
Excel is located in Mt. View. I went to their plant before I bought my boat.Quote:

Like Nimrod said somewhere on where about boats. Check with Don out at Legend Craft boats, they can make you anything you want like that. They have done work for me and it all has been great. One of these days, I'm gonna have them make me a new ride to put my 75hp tiller on.
