Muddy field = great equalizer. Chiefs had a great draft this year. All those rookies performing well last night is a testiment to that fact. Keep drafting those good SEC players. The Chiefs might just turn the corner soon.

I agree, there haven't been many games recently that I would stay up until 12:30 on MOnday to watch. Then again, they have sucked too bad to be on MNF, but what the hell. Hopefully this wasn't an anomoly, it's been a long time!
Congrats to the Chiefs for the win. But 4 yrds passing in the 1st half and 60 something yrds passing for the game will have to be corrected soon for them to be a real turn around team this year. That said... they are 1-0 and my boys are 0-1, so congrats Chiefs fans.:)

I'd say 350lb defensive linemen breathing down his neck on every pass attempt don't help much.
Strong D and special teams is making us look like a more balanced team. Hopefully we can do what the cards didn't this year and be strong on the road.
Howard Cossell would even have liked it.
Cassell had an "ALL-PRO" offensive line in New England. Chief's QB's have had to run for their lives every time they drop back to throw for four years now. They need a lot of help on the O-line. Hopefully that is where they spend their next few draft picks.Quote:

Ugly win--had to throw about 5$ into our "cuss" jar(anyone else have one?)..but they pulled it out-was nice to see a game plan that wasn't(1)handoff..(2)handoff...(3rd down)pass on 3rd and 8........I'm enjoying while it lasts...and the Royals beat the Indians to stay out of last(Royals...remember them??)
