Lake Evergreen

Anyone been to Evergreen the last couple days? Looking to go on Saturday.
Just wondering how the bite has been.

Caught limits or almost limits for the last 2 months. Pm me and I will give you some guidance if you need it.

Its not on the end we fish Wilbur.

I would say its southwest from the south ramp.

Sparky I was thinking of going tomorrow. What do you think about trying 5 fingers?

I will be there. Five fingers is at the white oak boat ramp. I don't want to get run over by a runaway car. It would be a bad way to go.:D What time you going.

If you go to mclean county parks and rec and click on fishing, go down to the bottom of the page and click on lake map pdf. It has the names and depths. Not a bad map. I also downloaded bing maps a few years ago. It is also a good tool.

Had 14 today. They were very scattered around flats and points. I wasn't out long though maybe 3.5 hours. Most of my fish came shallow. The brush in 8 ft. had only a few on it. Bait was everywhere so I don't know if minnows would have produced bigger fish. I didn't have any over 11.

Sparky.....Nice meeting you this morning...appreciate the help. We yanked at 3, actually got better when the wind picked up. Caught a dozen, had one go 13", wife to be caught it. Just nice to be on the water. Would be fun to have a Central Illinois crappie camp there sometime. Just a thought..

You guys must of been on the north end. I didnt see either one of you. I was in a bass tracker 175. With my daughter and son in law

Nice to meet you to Fred, I just got lucky that they were on one of my spots because I fished 6 or 7 and only 2 produced. Wil we were from the beach towards 6 mile, you must have been farther north.
