i figured i would go with my packers colors for my first. i had a hard time keeping the materials from sliding around the shank as i cinched it down with the thread, but overall im happy.
looks good to me if was a crappie i would bite it now for the dagger in your heart go vikging 2009 nfc north champs and ready for a repeat can you say farve the silver fox green bays worst night mare if you use purple and gold you would limit out ever time just a little football fun good luck with the jig tying

Colors look good,I would suggest cleaning your jig eye and stop your chenile at the hook point,otherwise looke great and bet you will catch a few on it
That's a good looking jig for a first. Like fishhunter775 said, stop you're chenille even with the hook point and clean your hook eye before you cure your powder paint cause it's a lot harder to do afterwards. Good job!

Nice jig for you first for sure! I would stop my chenille a little faster and not go past the barb and most of the time I am between the barb and the hook point. I kind of aim for the point plus a slight touch, but don't let it bother me if I hit either one.

thanks for all the replies guys, i will work on the chenille. The jigs were sent to me from MaryLou, but i will remember the tip on the jig eye. she also sent me alot of fur but i figured i didnt want to waste that on messing up my first jig...LOL. thanks for all the positive feedback

You definitely should catch some fish with that jig color combination is okay. Nice job for your first one hope to see more of your jig tying in the future.
I think the jig looks pretty good. You gonna take some flack over the hook eye full of paint though.;):)
