I haven't seen anything on shelbyville crappie fishing so I will let you know what I found out. I went out Sunday morning and caught around 30 crappie and not a single one was over 10 inches. I was fishing anywhere from 8 to 20 ft of water and caught most from 4-8 ft deep. I figure the bigger ones are still out wondering in deeper water. Hopefully they will move in once the water drops. Water temps 75 degrees.
WE were out FRI and SAT water was really dirty. what area did you fish? We only managed 10 shorts. You did real good I would be happy.
Not many postin if they are fishin--We went last week and fished all over mid-lake--I think 7 overs and the shorts but nothing of any size
Been doing some fishing, not much on shelbyville though. Been tearing them up on ol reds lake. Dad went to shelby to float around with the wife mid last week and fished the last hour. They had 7 overs. Jigs. Mid lake. Brush.

We did get a few small largemouths, but no walleye.
Dad and I hit shelbyvillle for a bit today as well too for the first time since early august for crappie. Didnt fare to well. Found some real nice ones, but not enough of them. Water temp around bo woods was 73 down past eagle 76.

Haha were not that good frank! Just takes time on the water to stay on them and find them, and we certainly havent been doing that. That WORK thing has come into my life... :(

Actually, the crappie bite has been very spotty lately, at least for me anyway. :(:(

Fish gods were watchin me!! Got my limit for the first time in a longgggg time! It was VERY slow. Found 1 area where I got all of them but 2. Would post pictures but headed up for the illini game!!

It wouldnt be fun if you didnt miss every once in a while. Matt was saying that he wished he had my dog out with him today. But she is out of commission right now. She got a puncture wound on her back paw and it is healing now. The stupid girl just went into heat now i cant run her in her first hunt test
