Okay guys, I haven't seen any crappie jigs posted lately! What gives?? I've tied up some little bitty trout flies for a buddy this past week, but just haven't had the inspiration to tie jigs. Post up some sweet jigs! It's almost time for some fall fishing!
Nothng here but will be tying up a storm this week. Opening day is the 16th for salmon and I will have a bundle of jigs for them that most of you would use for crappie.
This is for a giant state record crapppie.3/8 oz. with a palmered orange tail and a plamered black marabou neck,lol.
Now watch you use it and get a 6 incher.
He would have to be a cannibal,lol.The jig is 4 inches long.
Been tying around 10 jigs a day. Between the swaps and tying some for me and some friends to use this fall I been keeping busy. :)
been tying every single free minute i get...been tying some basic 1/32 oz trout jigs...this is my busy time of the year. then pick up again early early spring....
Dang I thought I made a post here last night, but just looked at it and then forgot to actually post it.
Anyway here is the jig and also said I don't remember if I already posted this one or not. Anyway this one is going to be part of my new line.
Oh yeah, I did also go into that I tied this week, but also had a lot going on other than tying. Two times to the dentist and too much stuff with the board of our homeowners association which I have been on the board for 10 years now.

Nice jigs everyone. Dove season came in this week and I revert back to one of my previous pursuits, as my screen name says. Had a good day in the field, and a bad week at work. All in the past and I have a version of the jig Skip posted in my head I need to get after. I'll have some to post soon, hopefully sooner than later. Meanwhile, GO SMACK SOME SLABS!!!

i haven't done any jigs for a week or so.been up north all week for chemo,but i think i feel a jig comin together in my head right now.and im right next to my vise and supplies,so its goin happen :D

hunter the first one in your picture is definitely a knockout that is a beautiful looking jig keep up the good work I deftly like that rainbow in the color combination that you use on that first picture.
