Wondering what Sardis is going to be like

I am just wondering if Sardis will be capping or what in the morning ? and with this cool snap if the crappie will have lock jaw ???? Your thoughts

I have the same thoughts. Wind is calm right now, supposed to be N 5-10 tomorrow so that is doable. Think I'm just gonna go to butla. If I get skunked there it's a lot closer drive home.

I don't fish butla much, I guess i need too since i live so close to it. You spider rigging there ?

If the wind doesn't die down it will be tough fishing this weekend.When I got up this morning you could hear the waves from my house.The lake looked like the ocean late Fri. afternoon.

BK60- thanks u might have saved me a trip. I was just fixin to to leave. Guess I will reroute.

BK60- wonder with the wind out of the north if the water is better near the dam

Hey feelay never fished butla before, heard it,s tought from you guy,s say, can you tell me whats a good place to launch, i,ve got a deep v boat, and are you pulling on there on pushing? thanks for any info!!!!

Tenn a sea........I am pretty sure feelay fishes with minnows most of the time

Hernando point is the best ramp, when the lake falls below 216 you may want to use the ramps on either end of the dam. I mostly push minnows and jigs.

yeah, but had nothing going this morning and it was such a nice morning. only caught 3 keepers and 3 shorts with 2 catfish kickers.

Feelay,

I caught a few nice ones the other day at Butla fishin 4-6' deep in 8 Fow--- so thought I might add that in here in case others might wanna try that- fished for two hours in 12-20' without any luck

The catching was mighty tough Saturday at Sardis. 2 catfish and 2 keeper crappie. Wind wasn't too bad for the most part.
