It finally dawned on me

Who some of you remind me of. Not necessarily in looks (although in some cases looks played into it also), but more so, the whole persona. Here's what I came up with so far.

Satdoc = The Cajun Coach from "The Water Boy" (they talk just alike)

Major = Colonel Troutman from "First Blood" (sophisticated yet very personable)

Crappieman101 = Lieutenant Dan from "Forrest Gump" (Dont mind giving you their uncensored opinion)

Munta = Captian Quint from "Jaws" (Dont know why, it just seemed right)

Slabo = Al Borland from "Tool Time" (Dude is handy to have around, especially cooking)

Don Don = Mel Gibson from "Lethal Weapon 2" (Half crazy personality, fun to be around)

Mr. Jim = John Wayne (Something about the voice)

There will be more to come later. Still some I have to think about. ;)

I get the Jack Nicholson thing all the time...

Yikess = NASA engineer. (Impecable attention to detail)

Wannabe = A cross between David Letterman and Detective Arthur Deitrich from Barney Miller. (This was a complicated one. Sharp wit, wise cracking.....but usually can come up with the correct answer when asked)

Cane Pole = The mad scientist who can build anything and you are glad he is on our side.

Jerkin Meat = Woody from "Cheers"



I'm still working on Jeff White, Bigger, Feelay, Torch, Billbob, Creekslick, G3, Triton, Big Blue, Minnerman, Rip a Lip and a few others. Y'all jump in if you have any suggestions. I certianly dont want to leave anyone out

G3 = A cross between Wilson from "Tool Time" and a referee. (You really dont ever see him, but he's there. His word, goes)

Big Blue = The Wookie from "Star Wars" (Easy going but he could rip your arms off, even if accidentally. Hell of a nice guy :p)

Creekslick = MacGyver (The dude can design and build anything)

Torch = a cross between Steve McQueen from "The Magnificent 7" and The Crocodile Hunter. (that joking around, McQueen style and his passion for wildlife either swimming or flying)

Billbob = Some Al Linder crossed with Hawkeye Pierce (That Yankee outdoorsey expertesism with a little ladies man thrown in)

Feelay = The Offensive Tackle, Jumbo Fumiko, from "The Replacements" (Easy going big dude, there when you need him)
(There was another suggestion p.m.ed to me suggesting Richard Simmons though :eek: )

Jeff White = Donald Sutherland from "The Dirty Dozen" (a deep philosophical mind)

Joe aka Paper Mouth = Josh Lucas from "Sweet Home Alabama" (No, I dont watch chick flicks, but Mrs. Speck has this one. Joe nailed this one with that quiet personality and flashy smile that the ladies love.)

Duckhunter = Another tough one. I'll get back to this one

Bigger = Still working on you also.

I actually disagree with a bunch of these here. I'll be thinking about it and correct the mistakes above as we go along.

First, let's start with the methods used. First off, if you have to explain why they remind you, you're already wrong. Second, you're being way too nice and generous with the descriptions. Ya gotta get it right and ya gotta make it sting a little.

OK, 1st one that's a glaring error is Sat.

Sat - R. Lee Ermey, the Drill Sergeant from Full Metal Jacket.

The truth is, R. Lee stole the term "Jackwagon" from Sat.

As in, "Move it ya Jackwagons!"
