Bring your sailboat!
thinking of grenada, but will prolly end up at ferguson cause of the wind.
I'm gonna parasail at Grenada tomorrow, baseball games and football practice Sat., back to work Sunday.
With this wind, I'm thinking agout heading to the TN River. If not then Sardis.
hey with the weather men we got in these parts its subject to change or just be flat out wrong!!!! maybe i can get a good afternoon in tomorrow while its supposed to 5 to 10 and hope it settles on saturday.
hey slimey where do you go on the tn river ive never fished it other than ky lake.
We have a place in Woodland Shores which is South of the I40 bridge(aboat 8 miles or so). Fishing is good there but the trolling aint no where near what it is down South(Sardis,Enid,etc..). It's a whole different setup fishing there.
headin to Grenada as we speak, and maybe the rez on saturday
I will be on the rez saturday....
hey slimey i talked to a guy at bass pro shop awhile back that puts in somewhere around there and he was telling how good pulling was workin i may have to venture up that way one of these days.
Me and my pops are headed to Sardis in the morning unless it is too windy
might need you bout 50 foot of logging chain to get down to 2 MPH lol
The last I looked the wind said 9 mph at 10 o'clock... Where do you keep getting your weather data?

They're always alot closer than Wunderground. I've been keeping up with it pretty close for the last year of so and they are closer to being right. Just remember that if anyone says anything about wind speed, add 6 to 8 MPH while on the water. Man, I live about 3 or so miles from the rez and can't tell you how many times I've looked out back and not a leaf was moving, then get to the rez and white capping. 9 MPH is 15 is the water
Awe man... I'll bring a surf board... One way or the other I am going. Whether I have to pull cranks north of 43 or ride the causeway, I will be on the water! Still doesn't look too bad up until 10 o'clock or so:

what a weekend it sucked. the water didnt look that bad at 1st was putting in at beach point by myself i unloaded the boat like ive done a million times parked the truck and came back and my boat was sideways on the ramp taking wave after wave. i tried to drive it back on the trailer and the backend was literally under water. so no fishing for me had to let my boat dry out maybe next time.
also thanks to the older gentleman that helped me after he got his boat out after he was swamped also. so thank you buddy!!!!!!!
thanks maj i took it as a sign.
I have been in the same situation with no help. Glad someone was there. It's not a good feeling. I like to put in at engineers point to avoid the wind and waves while loading and unloading especially when I am by myself.
+1 on Engineers Pt, you can get out of the wind to launch on some of the really bad days in that little cove there. Sorry your trip got blown!
I didn't do much at the rez... caught two keepers and one throw back. Wind got bad around nine thirty and kept me from trying new spots.

Dang man! Hate to hear that. Wind out of the North my a$$!!! Was coming out of the SouthEast. Dad and I were at Beach Point well before daylight and we could hear the waves cracking the rocks. We sat there and waited for daylight to make a decision and decided against it. We went all the way around to Pat's Bluff (near Clear Creek) to get out of the wind. It worked, but still turned out to be a complete waist of time. Fish everywhere on the FF, but nobody was doing anything. It was weird. I caught 7 fish in about 10 minutes and all the other boats were looking at me for answers, but that was IT! Only one was a keeper.
So recap, fished 3.5 hours, caught fish 10 minutes. Not good. And..... The weatherman can kiss it
Dang Bandit. Hope nothing got damaged and glad you made it out.
Wannabe...
who woulda ever imagined Sardis getting rough??
hey wb i only lost my back trim switch but when i was unhooking everything i found the reason my electronics havent been working so all in all it save me paying to have it rewired and alls i did was spend money of fuses.
