is the water on the rise yet? I went last week and the water was low, I called and asked the park personnel how long are they gonna keep it low cause they were supposed to be doing work on the dam, but the person on phone had no clue what i was talking about..........

The is going to be down until winter. We removed two boards and the water should be down as far as it is going to go.

I am the AGFC Regional Fisheries Supervisor for NE AR. I have been in this area for almost a year so I am still learning the area lakes and rivers. I worked in SE AR for 4 years before that.

I fish out of a SeaArk Rebel 15. I love it. Went to Taylor Bay sat morning and could not keep the gar the line. Crappie werent biting so we went to the Red River access Henry Grey. Caught several small crappie. Packed it in at 3:00. I will keep the trip short sun and go to Poinsett. Its 15 min from home and I fish it all the time. The water is very low but you can stii get the boat in

We are kept out of the loop most of the time regarding Lake Bono, too. I know they are currently working on constructing the dam.
