If Wannabe answers this, disregard his answer. He don't know nuthin bout puttin fesh in the livewell. Try scrubbing with lemon juice. Should remove the stains.
and thats what I use Jim for Livewell and all my coolers to clean out that fish smell
i've always used 1 cup of vinigar per live well and per bait well. scrub and rinse real good.
ain't had a problem yet.
Me and Wannabe never have to clean our livewells....no fish stains at all. :D
in a Fish Basket G
Baking soda does a good job also.
This is just plain ignernt. If you'd carry a bucket with ya, you wouldn't have to poo in your livewell anyhow and you wouldn't have this problem. When you're done, you can just give the bucket to DD and let him pull it until it's rinsed properly.

Wash it out good with bleach and let it dry and it will be good to go.
When we tournament bass fished that was what we did.
If you gewbers use bleach, make ding dang sure you flush it very good. Bleach is very hard to completely remove and it'll kill the snot out of a fish. Ever get it on your hands and try to wash it off with soap? Takes more than one washing and you won't be able to clean a livewell as well as your hands.
I like the baking soda for stains and scrubbing. But you can also use hydrogen peroxide to clean any biomass left in there. Rinses easier too.

That's the rod lockers. The tricky part is strapping them down good so they don't bounce around too much.
