Anybody been fishing over at horsehoe lake lately. i havent been since the spring wondering what was going on?

I went saturday (bad idea) I caught 12 on the deep piers before the skiers and joy riders ran me off.

Hawgdog,

I was thinking about venturing over there maybe this weekend. Surely, those fish are ready to bite by now. I think Memphislab is a jig fisher but not sure. I was planning on trolling. You got you a predator yet??

Naw not yet...lol.....to many kids in college. But dang it, i want something! Good luck this weekend. Don't think I will ever go back to Horseshoe on the weekend. But I am fortunate enough to work shift work and go during the week.

I really believe if and when I do get a boat, it will be a predator!

I was looking at one before I found my Crestliner, the Predator is set up better for spidder-rigging the Crestliner is set up better for pulling cranks ii my opinion. But you know what they say about opinions.:p

thanks slab....I took the wife this morning. To make a long story short, my motor wasnt cooperating and didn't get to fish. I guess everybody has days like that sometime or another....

I was just wondering if you used any live bait. Don't know if I want to give the ski fleas a chance to make me mad in the morning or not:mad:

Hey Dawg give it a try. Catch a limit by 9:30 or so and go back home.:D The lice and fleas don't get up at sunrise.

Ha! limit on the shoe....50!....South/ southwest winds at 10-15.....Think Ima pass:(
