Do you guys lubricate the main shaft? If so what do you use? I think I saw once to use armor-all, but just getting a consensus of what others are doing, if anything.

I tried everything till I tried goop hand cleaner, it works great, smear it on wipe it off and the shaft stays clean and slick for quiet awhile ,, goop it works
haven't had to yet.

Liquid Graphite. Works great and does not gum up or attract dirt. Been using it for the last 8 years on the Shafts of the Trolling motors.
