Wannabe...
oh no....... you have opened the door for EVERYTHING now, Wannabe...
one thought comes to mind....... do you KNOW how to measure ANYTHING?????
Hey now....I handled the OD specs....he handled the ID. OD is perfect. ID DD's.
Wannabe...
There's the problem. :D
And a recurring problem with post diameters........
DD's solution to the umbrella holder problem
Dang Wannabe...... you sure do have trouble trying to figure out what size a hole is. :D
G-3, you know how he is with measuring things. He is convinced that this (_____________________) is 12 inches LOL
I'm tellin' ya'll...This was an issue in production, not in design nor with management!!!
It's the dang unions....they rurnin' this country.
Wannabe...
WB, does that mean you belong to the local crappie union
Nope he belongs to the bucket union. :D
This is the conversation we had on Thursday July 7th. I was going to leave work a little early to head down to Sardis for the FJ and because I had a cabin to stay in and needed to check in a get the key before 5pm
Here is our conversation from IPhone text:
July 7th 12:57pm
WB : Finally remembered to check the hole is 2 3/4 deep
1:27 pm
Slabo: Ok workin on them now
WB: Well hurry up I mean it's not like I'm dropping this on you at the last minute or something.
2:24pm
Slabo: I'm making the hole .750dia undersized so you can hone it out, i heard you liked that!
WB: Friction can be a good thing.
3:55pm
WB: Them look good. Now I just need to win the umbrella in the drawing :)
The way I see it WB you don't have a pot to PI$$ in with this project!! I made the parts to the exact specs that were avaliable to me from said customer (Wannabe). When said customer was asked on the phone what size the hole needed to be I was told it is the same as the pin hole for a seat pedestal. Which every one knows that diameter is .750 for a pin type seat post
It was not until project was complete that I learned that said customer did not have nor had he ever laid his hands on the mating componet (umbrella) for this project. With that being said this means the said customer had no freakin clue as to what size the hole needed to be. So I was provided with what the said customer thought he had heard was the size hole that the mating componet would fit into. So to conculed this investigation the parts from the project were made to the EXACT specs that were provided to me from said customer.
THE REFUND ! Pffffffffffttttt!! YOU HAVE TO PAY BEFORE YOU GET A DAMN REFUND !!
Have you ever held an office under the Democratic party? Kind of sounds like it!!
Now I know why Satdoc cut you off from his jigs!!!
Maybe if you soak the umbrella in cold water it will shrink!!!
Hey Wannabe...Your hole is the right size...its your dadgummed umbrella thats too big. Get your umbrella machined down, ROTFLMAO :D
Oh...now I remember.....that's right.....it's Feelay's fault at the instigation of DD with Triton heading the conspiracy and G-3 conducting the cover up.
Wannabe...
Heyyyy, just for that you can't follow me in the morning
use duct tape
or some sort of lubricant......
K Y makes a good one if the holes too small
G3 said the post was too big......
If it were anybody but WB I would believe that!
I had to inform WB via text message about his warranty package: He opted out of the extended warranty package for just $59.95 and he took the standard FREE package. It is only good for thirty days or three feet which ever comes first. :D
I told him to submit his problem to my complaint department where our motto is:
" It's just mind over matter & If it ain't mine it don't matter !!!"
be more than happy to bore it out abit more Wb IF you took it to his house personally. If not, so sorry
OK, here's the deal. Minner will be through here next week. I'll get him to buy my lunch and I'll give it to him. He'll buy G-3's lunch and give it to him. G3 - Feelay, Feelay to Torch, Torch to Mo, Mo to ES ES to DD, DD to Slabo and then Slabo can buy my lunch at the campout or cook it. Dealer's choice.
So simple even Triton could follow it.
Wannabe...
i am just glad I ain't got to buy lunches
Hey...your not gonna get off the hook that easy Triton. :D
am too! just look at the thread, all I have to do is understand the progression
