I've used my buddies HDS, it was pretty nice.... Whats so bad bout the 997? Just curious cause i was lookin into one...
From what I have heard from several websites is the HB 997 can produce pretty pictures IF the settings are JUST right. On the HDS basically all you have to do is turn it on and the auto settings will present you with petty pictures from the get go.
I just think the side imaging would be good cause I'm never dead on and I could see what I was missing on either side... But I'm gonna do some more homework before I do anything
Yikess has got it...that and the maps are better, the 2D is better and the GPS that it comes with is from the non-suck sub contractors. :)
