Looks like either site will work.
thanks
I saw these in BPS for $55 the other day. I was wondering if anybody has used them? Are they better than the Okumas?
I don't own any but have used them in other's boats a time or 2. They feel a little more solid to me and the spools are definitely smaller on the ones I've seen at least, more like a regular baitcaster you'd bass fish with. Trouble is they cost about twice as much, lol.
They are better than the Okumas. Faster in the retrieve and let our. Never had one that did not reset when I let the line out either.
Been planning on replacing my Okumas with these, one at a time as the Okumas bite the dust.
Monk's Crappie has them for the same price.

If anybody's got a crapped out Okuma, I need a cast control cap off of it. G-3 will buy you lunch iffen ya give it to me.
Wannabe...
That is what I am replacing all my Okumas with. It has a faster retrieve than the Okumas and the counter part is part of the frame and seems to work better than Okuma. Okums seem to stick and not count at times but the Diawas havent failed me yet to count. Better Quality unit.:D
I don't think I will be picking up anything else for Wannabe sat.
Wish I had known about those before I bought six okuma's.
BPS has no more left I bought the last five today even the display for half price so call before you go
May all of you fall in your crankbait pile naked.
I buy some Okumas and now I need Daiwas. http://midsouthracers.com/forum/Smil...fault/kiss.gif
I have 5 Okumas and 1 Diawa..bought the 1 Diawa last year to see the difference and it has been nothing but trouble.the line release button sticks and the spool control never gets free as Okumas but as with cars I may have just gotten a lemon..
For those having problems w/ sticking line counters, try some powdered graphite lubricant. Someone suggested that to me a couple of years ago and it has really helped, here is a link but you can get it at any hardware store.
Graphite Powder Lubricant
DO NOT PUT WD40 or other type lubricants on the plastic parts. Powdered graphite works well.
Blakemore Reel and Line Magic is made to use on the line as well as the reel...it will not hurt plastic parts. I wet my reels down good all the time with it....it keeps everything working good and also helps with line memory and kinks. My Okumas work great after using this product.
