If you guys use a red head what body and tail colors do you use that have been good fish producers. I would like to try some other colors that you guys use with a red head and see how they do on my area lakes!!

Do the same jig except make the body Kelly Green and you will have a jig that's been working for me since the late 60's. The ruby slipper head is nice, but I like the fire red head for this combo.
Red and blue combinations work well down here in my area. The jig you pictured really looks good though.

These were in their day top sellers.
I like gray or silver with the red head also. Works good for me in muddy water.
most things with at least a yellow tail will work in most places here.yellow seems to be a decent all around color.even in other states yellow seems to work well.
My Favorite with a FL Red head is Kelly Green with a FL Yellow tail. Been using that combo since the 1970's. There are others, but this one is special.

All chartreuse
Chartreuse body, white tail
Black body, chartreuse tail
Black body, dark blue tail
Pink body, white or chartreuse tail
Dark green body, mallard flank tail
Havent tried it but I bet that ruby head with a firecracker body paired with a shad gray w/ pearl flash tail would look really good.
Good looking jig and pic like the black fleck in the yellow and white/black eyes.
All color combos sound like catchers.

Had to see what all the rant and rave was about today.I did'nt get my yellow marabou yet so made one with kip.

Christmas Tree was the ticket this week end. Ruby red, green apple chennile and just plain old yellow maribou.
