Sure beats the heck out of me Skip how you come up with these patterns. Kind of like a Hunters Jig (Rabbit and Pheasant) Very nice!!
Thanks Len. It helps when you have as much stuff as I have accumulated over about 4 1/2 years. I put almost all I take in back into materials. After all it's my hobby and now I have so much stuff I actually need to add another cabinet and can't seem to resist buying more and more. Just bought a bunch from Conranch, full bird medium barred ginger, Cape Lt. Ginger, and 3 Hens, Black, Brown and Chocolate Dunhe says like I have never seen.
In the back of my head I think that I may want a Cree full bird, but that's a big cost.

Chubby lil sucka,lol.
That bunnybou looks NICE! I bet it'll have some great movement in the water.
i bet it flows like its breathing.
Skip you can really see the difference in the bunnybou and regular cross-cut. I looks a lot fluffier(sp?).
Thanks guys!
Yes different for sure, but you could do the same thing with a Zonker, but this stuff has no guard hairs so it's all fluff and silky feeling.

I see the bass bothering that one in an 1/8 or 1/4 size. Looks good to me.
Skeet that is a 1/8 with a #6 regular bend hook. A few heads I had left after that guys order for the no tail hackle jigs.
Thanks,

Nice Skip! Wish I would have known about this when I ordered my Bunny Thump jigs
So many choices on jig patterns has to be a fun hobby I must get in on it! Just no time right now 2 year old little girls are alot of work!!
good looking jig skip you'll have to do like I do start filling your closet I don't know what am I to do when I get it full. Maybe I'll have to knock down a wall or two .
It's kind of new and I have had it for a little while, but this is my first tie using the Bunnybou. I wish it was not so high cost though. You only get 2' in a pack so not a lot of jigs in a pack.
I like how silky it is and all, but not sure I like it more than just the regular bunny stuff and not near as big of a selection, have not seen any crosscut in this at least not yet.
We can always adjust what you want? Sending a PM.

OK got another idea and will tie one tomorrow, but I was going to try and use the Bunnybou in place of the hackle on the hackle jigs I posted with no tail?? Well I couldn't get the synthetic chart stuff to warp in the rabbit like I wanted to, but probably because it's kind of thick fur or maybe the word is dense. Anyway I had a hard time taking that back out even though I had not done a finish at all, so I just cut that stuff out and unwound the rabbit. Then I finished it leaving a small amount of that chart stuff sticking out a little. So I have some other stuff like this and is a good bit longer so I could make a tail out of that stuff and it would stick out just a little when wet.
Just thinking a little and hope to remember to tie it tomorrow,

Jig looks really good!!!!! Get it anywhere at all near largemouths or smallies and that jig is toast. Really hope you like the feathers when you get them he has really good stuff. The only reason I bought the whiting is I was tying a pattern for a guy and needed it right then.

I really like the looks of the Bunnybou and with a chart tail that jig will be a killer. Nice!!
