If it was bought new I'd call and see about sending it back. Sounds like gear problems to me.:(
Call the folks you got it from and tell them that one of them was a dud...they should send you a UPS pre-paid shipping label to send it back plus send you another reel.
k I bought it from Northwoods the same place most of yall get yours from. Ive spooled 2 up so far and one was ok.
ScottV and I just got in 2 each and spooled them up yesterday with no trouble. Will give a fishing try-out Monday or Tuesday.
Thanks Steve its my turn to run the crew this weekend so I want be able to try mine until Friday. Me and some buddies are heading to Washington on Friday morning
i just orderd six myself this week. How long did it take for them to be delivered?
I bought 6 last month from them and had them in 3 days. No problems with any of em.
I just go by what I read and hear. It appears that you gave a good reccomendation. :D
I had a bad problem with one of my Okumas Fir (glad it wasn't Sat), line went under the inside of the spool & I tried to force it out, that ate up the side of the spool. Now going to test how good their warranty service is.
Scott and I gave our a try this morning and had no problems. It was nice to know how much line you had out and to be able to repeat after taking a fish off. Even had a big cat on one and having no trouble reeling him in till he broke my 10 lb line and took one of my red Bandits.
