How do you guys store your powder paint ?

I mean, do you store it inside your house, garage or otherwise. I just went out to paint a few after making a few new heads with a new mold and I notice that some of my paint had clumped up pretty bad. Now mind you my paint stays out in my shop which is a metal shop and it gets pretty hot during the day in there when it is closed up. should I move it into my house ? I have it stored in the cups for my fluid bed which the cups are plastic pvc. Just not sure on how I should store this or if the clumps are a problem, I was able to break them up and stir my powder up and it worked just fine

Sounds like moisture getting in it. Moisture + powder paint = bad. Keep them dry.

I keep mine in a file cabinet in the house.Never have had a problem with it.

I keep it in a box in my closet and it keeps the moisture away. Put some silica packs wherever you store it,

I've always kept mine in the shop. I just always double check the lids before putting them up to make sure they're on tight.

I paint on my kitchen table so I keep each color in a fluid bed cup or at least what I am using and the larger containers I keep in a plastic cabinet in the house. Like keeping it a nice dry cool temp.

Heat fuse'es it togather if this problem presist get it in side by You a cheap coffee grinder to recut the powder this works great for custom blending of flakes as well ! I don't charge for tips! HE HE HE!

Keep it in a cool,dry place.Heat and humidity are enemies of powder paint.

I keep mine stored outside in the shop as well. A few colors seem to clump. Usually yellows and greens. I add a few BB's to the container and give it a few shakes. Stir afterward with toothpick and all is well.

i use ammo cantines that u get at the army surplus store with some slica packs the cantines are water tight and with the slica packs it keeps the moisture out of them and then i set the ammo cantines in my laundry room under my computer table so there out of sight outa mind nice n dry/safe
