I turned the flash off, maybe better.
Looks like Powder Blue. I believe Crazy Angler has it. Nice jig!
It has a lot of green in it.
it looks like powder blue but it has a hint of green you can't really tell from the picture. I think I have some turquoise dye I'll have to check. If we do I will die some up and if you are interested then you could let me know that check with crazy angler I think Bob should have that color.and while I am thinking about it guys do they make a turquoise powder paint. They do have some that come pretty close but I do not call it turquoise. azsllabber what kind of jig head are you using it looks like a jig insert with reset eyes.
If it has a lot of Green in it then maybe it's Whitlock's Turquoise? He is a know fly tier and fly fisherman and some companies sell the color with his name on it because it's one of "his" colors.
I have 2 different shades of Turquoise and his is more Green.
I will also say thought from the picture I can't really tell. Computers are also hard to tell if it's the shade think it is.

I think this is it...

It looks like silver doctor,a pale blue to me.
Skip, that is a little too green.Like a shade bluer then what you are showing. The reason I am asking is that I went to an Urban lake the other night right before dark and made 3 cast with a white jighead like the 1/10 oz. Ultra Minnow and that turquoise colored jig and caught 3 nice bluegills with it.Then hung it up and when I got home had enough of a feather to make that jig shown, lol. That's the head Snake. Now,I want more,Ha
I do have some that is more blue and has the name Turquoise, but I think it looks more Lt. Blue. I got them from different places, but I do have two of them and also some FL Blue which is close to the one not pictured.
Here is the other before the crappie about ate most of the tail off over a couple weeks that I fished it. The picture seems to be a bit more blue and darker blue than it is, but not by much. These are the only two I have seen or tried that are called Turquoise.
One other thing to keep in mind, you can buy a color today and next month buy it again and it will be different. It all comes down to the die, the mix of the fie and how long it's in the die. So who is doing that makes a difference.

Very good chaunc.Thank you.
Now,dang it,lol.
OK I took out some colors to show, keep in mind I have another Turquoise (Whit's Turquoise) a few more blue shades, but trying to keep this as easy as I can and still get the point across that they are all different even if just a little. Keep in mine soon I will delete these colors out of my photobucket and it will then break the link.
You can clearly see once the plastic and flash are gone you can see the difference easy.

Ok,got it now.I'm good.Thanks Skip.The turquoise is the one.
it is very hard to be consistent with your colors when you are dying material we can measure it out exactly every time but you might come up with a sheet difference each time in this is what happens when they do it with big batches it will be consistent. We found out by ordering chartreuse we get several different shaped changes each time that we order from the same place. Like you said Skip. We have some light color turquoise we will try to do that when we get time to see what we come up with. I believe the color that you have here to is very different then turquoise. Of course there is so many color variances of turquoise or any color.the colors of marabou that you displayed the upper right one is a true turquoise. Skip do you find it blue colors and turquoise catches more fish. We are just starting to work with plastic baits that are different variances of blues I would definitely have to make a turquoise color is I have not seeing that color in plastic color. Something else that we've been doing is tying managerial on jig inserts then dipping the heads and plastic which is kind of unique we will try to post some pictures of this.
Yes it all depends on who is doing it. I talk with some of the guys that do the color dying and all. I have several shades of Chart and actually am waiting for the next time they die some marabou because I like mine a little different than most sell. The guy told me the next batch he would add more of what it takes to get to the color I got before from them. I even mailed him back some feathers to ask if what they have now matches mine and it didn't, but next batch will, LOL!
California is making some of these problems as they keep outlawing some kinds of die and it changes the companies colors.

yes I probably have some die there is probably bad for the environment is the chemical makeup of it is very old but good. I think some of the stuff I have is more than 40 years old. I think I have one or two of herders which I wish they were still in business. Yes it is getting harder can find a good die source in a corset is terribly expensive the last time I bought 1 pound it cost me over 100 bucks with a shipping. But 1 pound will die a lot of stuff in it takes a special talent to produce the same color time after time. Custom dyeing is a thing of the past resisted the quite a few guys that did that. I got into doing it a long time ago mainly because I enjoy doing it one of the reasons why I buy most of my material in white . I think the most common color that I work with is chartreuse second is white third is black. All other colors are I consider to be order only if we do not stock 40,000 different colors. And you definitely could put a lot of money into buying different colors mean you know that skip.
Been playing with the camera. Here's the turquoise. No more left now.
