I got the first hint of red on a few on my Roma plant, which im sure is the world champ. Its 10 feet across and has 125 plus green maters on it. Its really amazing. I think it puts on a new bunch of maters every day.
I TRIED to find some Roma's but couldn't locate any when I planted.
I have never planted Roma's, I always thought they were cooking tomatoes. We like a strong taste in our tomatoes and I keep looking for a good eating tomato, one with that acid taste. Tried some Celebrity this years but they don't seem to have too much acid taste, anyone know of a good one?
I have been getting maters from 2 plants for the last 2 weeks. I tried Bonnie's "Better Bush" and they are going crazy. I also spray Bonnie's fertilizer on them about every 3-4 days. The other maters are just now staring to do anything. Anybody got producing squash?
Steve J.......The romas are cooking maters, but if you want salty acid I dont plant nothin but Arkansas Travelers. They are the best IMO.
Love to keep some home made sketti sauce in the freezer. Those Front mater plants are the celebrity one's but we're just now getting some that are starting to turn FINALLY
Here is what I have been gettin for about 2 weeks along with a bunch of foot long cucumbers.
those cucs? :rolleyes::D
If I said what I wanted to G3 would have to go to work with his DELETE button! Been makin cucumber, mater and onion salad mostly. Have made up some cucumber mayo too and it is really good.
I have 2 of them at the house and didn't even plant any this year. Couple of them that were laying in the garden form last your sprouted on me and now I got a couple. Gonna TRY and make pickles this year but ain't never done that

Nice crappie and garden pictures. I didn't plant one this year.
You just cut the cucs and put them in a jar with maybe some garlic and pickling spices, then boil some vinegar with a touch of water? I do that with my pepper sauce. Put the pepper in the jar, boil some vinegar with a touch of water and some salt, then just pour it over the top, screw the top on and turn in upside down to seal
there is more to it than that
Is this a new version of Billbobaneese????
don't, thats way worse than me
