Has anyone fished Lake Lee this summer??
I've heard mixed reports over the past couple of months, Brad. Just waiting on the river to get right.....should be any time now. You'll be one of the first ones I call when I hear something.
I'm ready to come fish it again!!! I had a blast last summer on it!!!

i heard a couple real good reports from a little futher south today!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm probably going to be trying Lee this Saturday. If they aren't hittin' there then Ferguson is in the crosshairs.
how far south meat, Rockpile?
Let me Know also. Its a haul from Jonesboro but I will make it when its on. A friend from Hamburg said its close.

Got to be Rockpile or the Old River, huh? Me and my brother tried to get to the old river last weekend and there was a big tree in the way of the only public access we know of...or used to be public. Boy, that water tore them cabins and camps up bad. This was just over the levee on the North sided of Grand.
or carolina! heard some good reports today.
the good reports i got were from albermarle . its about a hour south of greenville.

no i am not fishing tour. stay there at washington but going on south to fish. just got phone with a friend that lives on eagle lake said is on .
All these Oxbows are getting right now. Midway is supposed to be right here. Post ur pics meat.
just talk to a buddy that was fishing chotard this morning had 25 at 945am caught a limit of 50 yesterday (slabs) he said no one was at the store/bait shop but the ramp was open and all the cabins flooded . i was going to wait to next week to go but i cant wait going tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fished Midway today. Caught 25. Fish quit at about 11. I'll be at Washington next weekend.
Fished Lee Tuesday and had 14. Went back Thursday and kept 35. Kept 32 today. Not everything I kept were "slabs" but I had some good size fish and plenty of them. Those fish are still in the timber and no one was doing much in open water. It's getting "right" if you like to single pole in the brush. Needs to fall another 6 feet or more to have really good trolling.
Thanks for the report. Would normally be getting ready to make a trip home down there, but sometimes work comes with obligations even on reqular days off. Man I hate to miss single pole fishing in those willows. Yall enjoy it.

I was in a Triton TA196 glass boat.

That's about right Brad. River's at 30 feet but it's leveling out. Still have 8 FOW in the trees. Kept 30 Mon and 18 Tuesday. Going again tomorrow. Just can't stand it!
