This is my first picture of crappie that I caught at Claremore Lake in May. Hopefully I put it in the right size!
Ya'll let me know if I am doing this wrong!

Oops! I forgot that was a video. I don't think I did it right!

Hey Peke...you did real good with the pics and quite a nice rack for all those rods. Think you are more than a fisherwoman now. Congrads!
I always love seeing pics of cooler fulls of crappie, and the rod rack is a great idea too. Nice pics and sized right too.;):)
Thank you! I still have issues with touching the fish that I catch. I filleted all of those fish myself, but then again they weren't moving! That is where my issues happen....I'll touch them if they are NOT moving! :D

Omg  I've been trying to figure out a way to get all my rods in my Garage while keeping some of my wall space and I think I've just discovered how! Thanks for posting that pic Patti!
Oh, and just whack 'em Crappie, or any other fish for that matter, across the head. A good stick or hammer handle works well. It'll put them right to sleep while you do your thing! ;)
Loved the video of the flopping Crappie. It was like they were waving Bye Bye
Patti, you're a keeper girl! Great method for storage of rods\reels.:D
Very nice rod/reel rack. I'm always looking for innovative ways of storing things. :)
That is a nice rod rack, alot of folks are hanging them overhead to save more wall space.
Thanks! I also put a 4 way on the bottom set of racks. That way I can add another rack below if needed later.
The top PVC rack on the left is about 3-4 inches shorter than the bottom one on the left. I don't know why I did that! And that one was done last! I had a reason at the time.... I can also put the net up there.
Okie Don, Let me know if you can't see the picture well enough to figure out the parts I used. (3/4" PVC)
So I didn't use too much space on the site?

When I clicked on the video it didn't show the fish flipping its tail up. When I imported it to photobucket, the tail flipped. Somehow I can't see it on here, but others can. Weird!

Can you imagine one of these in an Oklahoma Lake? We could teach it to chase jet skis that get too close to fishing boats or chase bass boats that swamp little fishing boats? Just kidding! :D It is related to the piranha.

I love that show... I saw another one similar to that on NatGeo where the guy caught one of those... tough to catch. I do like the idea of chasing jet skiers away and we should extend that to wake boarders in No Wake zones...
I wonder if they might munch on snakeheads and big head carp? We could super size with a side order of zebra mussels. Just a thought:eek:
Peke - What a great idea for a rod rack. I think I will try to configure one in my garage tonight. WTG girl!
Yeah, CG. Just what we need.....more species that don't belong in Oklahoma. Cudzu vines...fire ants....
Rod rack idea was borrowed from someone else with modifications. Can't remember where I saw the idea though.
