I would be interested in a Crappie Club, as for touraments, only if they are for fun and a fish fry or something after. I quit bass touraments because they just wasn't fun anymore. Thats my 2 cents worth
i would be interested in it randy and i got a few folks that would also...we need to check in to it..
I don't know of any ! I fish a lot of the catfish tournaments around here but most of them are at paylakes! Which in my opinion you have a better chance!
lol we fish alot of river tournaments...Use to fish the duracats series, out of ohio near cincy....good little tournament, well managed and all....
I'd love to something like that that right now with school and the boat being down and just getting the Harley out of the shop I can't afford it right now in a couple of months I'm going to get the boat fixed then I'll be ready!

The shaft in the lower unit twisted in the middle from the foot due to me running into a sand bar!

There is actually 10 big lakes in WV, And a few others that are around 200-500 acres..There is more than enough room to hold a few tournaments....

I am new here, and don't want to step on any toes. But I sure hope we don't start any Crappie Tournaments on our WV lakes. Sutton is my favorite Lake. And it is great for fishing. But I hate being there when those nutty bass tournamets are going on. Up and down, up and down is all they do. Runnig their motors. Crashing me up onto the timber, muddying up the dirt banks. Sorry but that is just not for me.
Now a bunch of friends getting together and fishing. Heck ya. That is the way to go. But I am talking friends who share their bait. Not guys who will stab you in the back to win the tournament or catch a one oz. bigger fih. Sorry but I just don't want or need that. Please keep our WV lakes as peaceful as possible.
KY and Barkley lakes have big tournaments. And are big enough to handle tournaments. Our lakes are fairly good sized, but not nearly big enough for a large tournament IMO. Tom.
Hey Tom, welcome to the site! Hows it going with your hips and knees? Hope your able to get out and fish some.
I am hoping to get back on the lake this summer at the earliest. Hopefully for sure by fall. I have been shopping for a new boat to take out with me this year coming. And I couldn't think of a better place to gather information on a new Crappie boat. Tom.

Where are you guys from ? I live in Wayne ! and We don't have enough people for a big tourney so it would be peaseful ! but if anyone wants to get together and fish I'm all for it !
