My brother in law had a bad one last year, tried all kind of things and couldn't pass it. Someone told him to eat lots of asparagus and drink coca cola, he did and it cleared right up. He had another one last week, but haven't heard yet if the asparagus and coke worked again. I've heard using lots of antacid pills will cause them to form.

I have heard MANY reasons for them and many ways to keep from having them. NONE have been right.:eek::eek: Never had a Tums in my life...unless I ate some as a kid thinking they were candy....:D
