Cook what are you going to do throw it away and eat the rice. LOL
put it in your fridge for 24 hours. That will do better to dry it out.
I checked the 'net for ideas, and there are about a gazillion of them....I just picked one and ran with it...45 minutes in a worshin sheen is a lot different than a quick dunk in the toliet...at least I have 3 days to hope :)...maybe I'll stick the bowl of rice in the fridge, can't hurt at this point....uh...I didn't mention ,wasn't my phone...its one of those fancy do everything sliding keyboard thingymabobs..heck..one time it rang while he was gone and I couldn't figure how to answer it!!
Cook- my son ran his through the washing machine twice in 6 months. Both times I took the back off, removed the battery, and baked it in the convection oven for 6hrs at 150 degrees. Baked the moisture right out of it. Still works! :)
I get ticked at him for not checking his darned pockets, BUT at least he is doing his own laundry :o
What happens to cheese that's exposed in the fridge. Dry's the moisture out.
Rice and fridge is probably a good combo.
dropped mine in the live well used the speedy dry for garage floors sucked the moisture rat out of the fancy ringy thing
Heard the rice trick on Kim komando.com She has a radio show on weekends about all things computers and technology stuff, she said it sounds a little hoakie, but it works, however, this was a couple years ago before the new Iphones and droids.
Good luck.
Cook I just purchased one of those new Motorola phones that can be dropped in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes and it still works. But I am not going to test it out! Its called a Motorola Barrage and so far it's been as tuff as nails! Plus it has a large display so I can see the names and numbers in the phone book!
and it works for wet carpet in the truck also
Told him this morning..oh well
hard part is it said to wait at least 3 days to put the battery in and check it to make sure all the moisture is out...had the irresistable urge to check it this morning...wait...wait...wait...wait.....
rugsrme...been listening to Kim while traveling for 10 years or so...she sounds hot and I've resisted the temptation to search for a pic. of her..the image in my mind is the way I want it! :)
thats why I resisted...my head can conjour up some awesome images..why ruin it
