Are permits or permission required to place attractors on Douglas? I could not find any info on it at the TWRA website.

Jon the fisherman, I got a ? do you fish much around the paint rock area? I saw your post on a couple other boards for TN. If you do I need a favor take me fishing up there and show me how to fish it. We have bass tournments up there out of the paint rock ramp. But I really like the area period. I like it better than the main lake area. But it is just a question and like the other board if you get down to the Chick give me a hollar and we can hook up to fish down there.
By Paint Rock are you talking about the one on the Duck River? Close to Waverly, TNQuote:

Went to a boat/fishing show yesterday and talked to a TWRA officer about the attractors. He said TWRA had nothing to do with it, that I would have to go through TVA.

I dont know about TVA, but the Corps of Engineers gave me permission to drop a BIG oak tree into the lake that was leaning out over my dock. A simple call to their office and a chat with the ranger was all it took. For the most part they are decent and reasonable folks----notice the "for the most part". Every now and then you can run across one that got out of the bed on the wrong side.
Hey, I seen these "fish attractors" in TN before, do they actually attract things like bass? I flipped a few of em ang got nothing. They where marked and where something like a cypress or pine tree that went 20 feet down...
