My family is OK in NW OKC, just a bunch of rain and wind. Still hoping that my in laws at Jacktown are Ok.

How about you? It is almost in Gore! No, it is on the ground in Gore right now. Be safe.

My Sister Just Lost Most Of Their New House They Were Building Just South Of Thunderbird Lake On 259th. Neighbors Houses Are Gone.
Mother In Law Just Lost Their Barn And Pool In Council Hill.
Check out the video on KTUL Channel 8 Tulsa. They say Lake Thunderbird's marina/dock was hit. Hundreds of boats...some damaged and some just moved around. Horrible! So sad.

Good here in Gore. Several trees down on the highways heading out north of Gore. That is both highways at that. Went as the crow flies about 1/2-3/4 miles north of town.
Heard of reports that some campers in Brewers Bend park on the Arkansas river just north of Webbers Falls Dam were injuried and that they had a search and recue going on over there. That is about 2 miles northwest of me.
Just heard of power lines and trees down on the east side of Lake Tenkiller.
Sure hope it didn't suck what few crappie that were in the lake out.
I just hope no one was hurt or injured. The reports from the OKC area isn't sounding good.
Sorry for posting in the wrong thread. Thanks for moving to the off topic thread. (crappie reaper/deerhunterodie.
Here at Fort Cobb Lake we are safe and no damage. Looked like we were going to get it but it moved on toward OKC. Hope everyone is safe. Sorry to hear of Change Livewire's relative's damages ...that is so terriable.
Stinkfinger...you and your cabin OK? Please report.
Hate to hear about your relatives Chance. The marina at Thunderbird looks pretty bad. Jiggin, that is funny about the few crappie in Tenkiller being sucked out. Hope everyone is safe. The wind blew a little here in Talala but hardly even rained.
Odie
All safe and sound here, hope everyone else made it through ok. Saddened to know that there were fatalities.:(
Seen the pics / video of the damage at the marina - what a mess. Hope everyone in the area is fine. Wonder how much gas and oil got leaked into the lake.
Sorry to hear about the fatailites
prayers being sent to all from south east Missouri
Sorry about the loss of life out there. Prayers from republic sent to.
We're okay here in NW Norman. We live just south of Rock Creek and off 36 Ave NW. I understand Lake Thunderbird was closed off today. Anyone have any info on that?
Praying for those directly affected by the storm.
Found in the Norman Transcript:
"State park officials closed Lake Thunderbird on Tuesday until debris can be removed from the water. Pop cans, cracker boxes and ice coolers were scattered around the lake."
wow...must be a real mess to close all of thunderbird....North OKC had no weather....we'll be thinking of those that are affected from the storms. Had a friend who had extensive hail damage...almost 60 hail stones went completely through his roof, some of the holes were big enough to stick your whole head through and the yard looked like someone had taken a sledge hammer to the whole thing.
Looks like Tulsa, Claremore, Oologah and all around the area was bypassed. The storms hit our cold front and lost power.
No matter how much Oklahoma spends on tornado safety, people still try to stay in a mobile home or their cars. I was amazed at how many people were driving their cars. I guess they weren't listening to their car radios.
There are quite a few people from areas that were hit who haven't responded yet. I am guessing internet problems and such.
Hoping for the best.

Got electric service back at 10:15 pm tonight.
Debra and I were on eastbound I-40 Monday night just behind the storm that hit the I-40/Choctaw Road area. Amazing there were no fatalities there. Also amazing was seeing so many drivers behaving selfishly and making it impossible for emergency vehicles to pass.
We got only a few hail dents on the car, sat on I-40 for 2 1/2 hours, and lived off of generator power for 2 days so we have no complaints (except for knucklehead motorists).

Well, tonights episode was not a tornado but hail and lots of it. We lost all the windows on the North side of the house, plus the roof, garage door and even knocked the paint off the chimney. Hail was up to 2.5" on the ground.:( Don't know how much this is going to cost.
Dang George, I just saw that on the local news this morning. All I can say is wow! Hope you have a good insurance agent.
Odie
Odie & SW - Thank you for your concern. Let me clarify something. The hail was up to 2.5" in diameter not 2.5" deep. We have State Farm Insurance so I expect everything will be OK. Thanks again. It was kindA WILD YESTERDAY.
We got lucky the tornado stayed three miles south of us. Sorry to here you got alot of hail damage George. Looks like we have a chance of more stuff tonight. Hope everyone fares well through this storm season looks like its going to be a ruff one.
