Are we going to do a tourney in our neck of the woods on the 28th? It kind of fell off the scope and I guess we should think about asking who is able/willing/brave enough to come.

I'm ready to go now! Don't know how much interest there is. The date will be Jan. 28 and the place will be Va. side, N.W. River.
In my opinion it doesn't have to involve money, let's just fish.
If anyone wants to go, let us know and we'll set a meeting time and place.
I am IN would like to very much.
I'll give it a try if I get my permanent license back in time.
I will try, it should not be a problem since I start terminal leave today!!!!! Finally get to retire.
Well I'll be there with $10 cash whether we do a pool or not. Full moon is next weekend and I don't put too much faith in it but, I'll be out there a couple days and should hopefully be able to give the non-regular/local folks a couple spots to try on the 28th. I like to get out there at Bob's by 8:00 a.m. but thats me.
Retire? I'm jealous......Then again I'm also just a pup.:rolleyes:Quote:

Go down to msg #5 and there is a map, a poor map, but a map. The brown line at the left is Rt 168 coming out of Great Bridge section of Chesapeake. As you can see, its right on the Carolina line.
Okay, I got ya. Thanks. I guess from Petersburg, I would come down 460, then towards VA Beach and follow signs toward Nags Head. Would that be right?
Here is a link that looks pretty good. Notice on the upper right of the picture you can switch between Ariel photo or Topo map. And on the left side (upper) is the Zoom bar.

Are ring/yellow perch running good at the end of January?

You got it Dayton. The ramp is right there before the bridge on your left going south.Quote:
