New to the forum (1st Post!) Heading to Green tomorrow. Has anyone heard anything about fishing at Green River?
Went there yesterday and we had 21. Water was about 55.5 56 degrees by the end of the day fish didn't seem to be on the bank. They were out in deeper water and made it tough fishing with the wind and all the boat traffic. good luck. :D

Welcome to C.C.
Went to Green today, caught 10 keepers and only had a couple dinks. Lots of boats and plenty of wind. Fished with minnows and bobbers. Caught them in a couple coves, 3 had eggs. Most around 10 to 12 feet in 16 to 30 feet of water.
We fished green Fri and Sat. We caught 57 Fri and only 32 Sat. Sat the rain and wind kept us off our spots. Caught some real nice fish. A few where 3/4
to 11/2 lbs and alot 1/2 to 3/4 lbs. Most were 11-141/2 in. Warmest water we found was 58. The fish are scattered. Alot of the females were about to bust with eggs and some males we caught had some torn up fins from fanning. Hopefully the front coming thru later in the week don't mess with them too much. Planning on going back again Fri-Sun. Good luck to all.
Where were you fishing at Chucky?
team slabslayer i got 21 keepers wednesday between .14 to 1.5 earlier this week up in the river.
Slab how far up in the river can you go now with the water levels?
We put in at Holmesbend and go up the lake. Me and my buddie we take both boats to cover more water and when one of us gets on them we call for the other. Right now we are hitting the main creek channel. I will work the drops and ledges and he hit the ledges on to the flats. We have been as for as the bridge but caught a crap load of small ones. They are still going up in schools but the inmature ones are leading the way. The biggers ones are still back down alittle. I have best luck fishing ledges 22ft then jumps to 15ft but i am fishing only 8ft to 14ft deep( using 8 poles). My buddy fishes the opposite side of the channel where it may go from 28ft to 20ft then to 15ft flat. Hope this helps. We will be back down Fri, Sat and Sun. Good luck to all.
had any luck in Whiteoak creek.
Have not tried it yet. Right now with the water low most of our spots is out of the water. When they raise it to summer pool we will be hitting it. We have tried the mouth out where it meets the main channel but only small ones. When we come down Fri morning we will run up for a while and test to see whats hitting. We'll spend about a half a day checking. After that we'll decide where we will fish the rest of the weekend. Good luck to all.
If you are talking about the area from Holmesbend to the first bend up to whiteoak creek in that long straight way. Then yes they were fishing the flats.3/4 of that straight is nothing but a flat. I think they were starting at about whiteoak and drifting down but the channel cuts across the middle. But most were fishing in 15ft to 8ft. There is some brush and stick ups but it is scattered. More flat than structure. We was using minnows. Some minnows tipped with wax worms. Caught only a few on jigs. Good luck to all
