Ok heres the pic of that monster 1/4-2 jig
Looks Good!!!How many raps of chenille did you have to use?
i used 2 wraps... waiting on a 1/2 oz lol
What you fishing for . . . . . JAWS lol.
some tennessee guy lol.....i did see in the TN section they did catch a shark in the river lol
1/4 ounce huh. Biggest I have tied is a 3 ounce 5/0 extra long sea guard jig. I want to see a crappie eat that one. Maybe I need to go bigger for local crappie, my little stuff don't work but maybe not over 1/4 ounce for crappie.
Nice jig... Those biguns make some clean looking jigs.... I love tying 1/16 versus 1/32 and smaller..... But no one I know fishes anything bigger than 1/32 in south la.... Not much deep water here in Acadiana ..
What's your tail.... ???
Speaking of big jigs, here's one I tied for my friend Shadow. He was catching way too many whole fryers. LOL. Sorry Dwayne, had to show 'em what big is.

I tye a lot of "big" jigs.Mostly 2 1/2 oz. with a 7/0 hook for flounder for my Pa. family for the Atlantic.lol.Uses up a lot of bucktaol.
ill need to talk to you before to long on some doormat jigs
Let me know.I use the Do It "H" jig.Mostly all that work are Hot Pink with a white bucktail.1 1/2 oz. for bays and 2 1/2 or 2 for deeper water.
Here is what I used to tye before I found this site, lol.Hundreds and hundreds of them.I tyed these today for my brother in law,he's going to somewhere in Massachusetts for haddock next month. They were a lot easier to tye then the little ones, but with one of them, took as much material then 2 dozen crappie sized jigs.
