I'm going to try for crappie this weekend. Got out for some trout today. It was slow but got a couple.

On my way home from work I went by my family's place, and it was still pretty muddy.
check my site out got some trout on there i caught last weekend...16 all weighed in at 2.5-3.5 lbs really nice rainbows

Caught between 30 and 40 crappie today. All of them were keepers, but two that were 7". I'm calling anything over 9" a keeper BTW. The smallest of the ones I kept was 9.5".

Just a small green twister tail and a lead head.
Good catch....how deep were they?
They were only a few feet deep, but the place I was fishing is 12' max with an average of 6 or 7 foot.

Caught my personal best today. It was 15.5". It was released back into the water right after the pic was taken. It was outside my range of eating size.

Small charteuse twister tail with a pink lead head.
catch a few on pink head and white curly tail....in the rivers you cant keep the buffalo of them here

Well I worked this weekend, but had a couple hours Sunday to fish. Caught a dozen or so, and here's a pic of the mess I kept.

Went to South Millcreek Lake yesterday, and caught about 6 or so with only two keepers. Caught about ten jumbo sunfish.

Nice stringer there, good eatin too. I'm having trouble getting into the crappie this year for some reason. My usuall spots are not producing at all, I'll keep at it till I find them tho. Thanks for sharing the pic wvengineer.
