I consulted with an unnamed person, and the best I can come up with is this.
Any 2 person team that has a wader must stay in sight of the person in the boat. If both people are wading, they must be in sight of the boat. With one person wading, the person in the boat must follow the lake pole limit for one person, which is 3 on Grenada. Violation of this will ruled on by Tourch.

Wading is OK, but we thought about it and don't want somebody dropping a partner and running 12 miles away from their partner. Just seems the fair way to do it.

Lets put simple where even Cowgirl can understand - Partners fishing must stay in site of each other and the boat and follow lake pole rules..
OK.....The rules state...."Wadeing is only allowed on the single pole artificial only tournament" Is this correct? Or has a rule change been made ?
Looks like Bigger keeps on changin things even after CHIP IT IN ROCK has appeared. I would wait for a TORCH ruling.

If they are gonna change the rules they need to send me a copy of the change so I can edit and put it on the official rules on the sticky at the top of the page. Remember....the more you change them...the more confused folks get.
only way I am wading on this one is if i find a sand bar that is 3 inches under the water again

No other tournaments will allow you to get out of your boat. We are different and wading will be allowed. I just ask that you wear a life jacket when wading, not mandatory but use common sense.
It is mandatory to wear a life jacket. thats the corp rule, anywhere outside a designated swimming area.
No kidding. Didn't know that. Anybody know where I can get some green jeans and a shirt to match? To heck with the Tournament, I'm gonna borrow DD's center console and make me some money this weekend if I can find a bubble gum machine to mount on the console.

I just read all 14 pages of the rules post and all 10 pages of the scedule post and there aint nothing bout wading in there. I didnt think it was thats y i addressed it. Some folks asked if they could wade and they were told by others that they could. No rule says that you cant, just gotta stay round the boat.Quote:

in the early mornings or late in the evenings and see some of our Monster gators. BET you changer your mind about getting out of your boat and wading. I've had 14 footers follow my boat around and even though I was in my boat, I was SKEERED

OK, the king has ruled. G-3, change rule #8 to read:
8) Tournament Series. Series will consist of 7 Tournaments and 1 Championship. Lakes will be Grenada, Enid, Sardis, Arkabutla, Washington and Ross Barnett. Dates will be chosen separately and the lake master (Bigger) will match the dates to each lake. The Championship lake will be chosen at a later date at the Lake Master’s discretion, but is not limited to the lakes we’ve already fished. One of these tournaments will be a single pole, artificial only tournament. On all tournaments, wading is allowed but you must remain within site of your partner and your boat at all times. If you do wade, you must wear a life jacket at all times.
Chip it in a rock, after you erase the last rock it was chipped in.

Dynamite may be used at all tourneys when it is within an hour of quit feshing time when you only have 2 measurable fesh in the boat. All sticks of dynamite must be attached to a minimum of 4 oz of weight firmly with a secure knot as to not come loose when tossed overboard and blow up said thrower nor his boat (vessel)
