Need a reel man

Anybody know of a good reel repair shop around Memphrica? I tried to take one of my Okumas apart to let some water out of it and now the counter doesn't work. I'm sure I didn't get one of gear thingy's lined up properly or something.:(

The best I can remember there were 2 on here last year that were working on a line counter reel. I think their names are billbob and rip a lip.:eek::D

I know that's why I need somewhere local that can hook me for a $10 spot. It still works perfect as a normal reel but without the linecounter feature it's a just a parts reel to me.

If I'm going to pay shipping then it's going to be for shipping that will have a new one headed my way.

Patrick I've never put billbobs mechanical skills to the test but I have tested Rip's and I can tell you first hand that he can fix darn near anything.

If you have two of them open up one that works and see what you did wrong. That how I would fix it. It can't be that hard!!! A 8 year old Chinese put it together the first time. :eek:

Yeah but you were not there when his and ted broke that okuma down last year now were you? There were cuss words, and sat was not even around.....

As far as ted goes, if you need a beer or a knot tied, ted is your man, but reel fixin is not his forte....:D
