I use white cornmeal, Lawrys season salt, and lemon pepper..
Plain yellow meal, little bit of plain flour, lawry's seasoned salt, red pepper
never measure
A little Lawry's, plenty of Old Bay, some cornmeal and flour.
For exceptional quality fish you want to taste instead of just fried taste (pompano, flounder, sea trout for me, mainly), dust with flour, dip in egg, dip in panko bread crumbs, pan fry til golden brown.
I usually use Zatarain's crispy southern, but JR Madds is really good too.
Zaterans is my back up when the store is out of McCormik's. Crisy Southern is very good. I have two shakers of Lawrys seasond salt in my cabinet. One regular and one with Black pepper. I put it on my Steaks, never tried in with fish. I guess I will give it a try next time. Greek seasoning is good mixed into the flour as well.
Zatarain's Crispy Southern with real Lemon. I've been using it for years and think it's the best. When it boils right down to it, it's all a matter of personal taste, use what ya like.

Louisiana in the blue bag.
Half corn flour and half corn meal with Fiesta Fajita Salt-Free Seasoning. I'm salt-sensitive, no sodium for this fellow.
I like Andy's in the red bag
Bass Pro brand [spicey]
Corn meal, flour, salt, pepper, old bay. Lately though, I've been using panko bread crumbs and I think I like them better.
Fryin magic or bass pro original...
Where can I purchase some of this House Autry? Never heard or seen it in my neck of the woods. I would like to try it. Do they make it in a cajun or spicey version? Thanks everyone for the replys.
Just checked out the House Autry web site. Guess I will have to order online. Did not see a spicey or Cajun mix.
Corn meal, season all, salt, pepper. Sometimes i add a bit of crushed red peppers.
Yellow corn meal.
Uncle Bucks from bass pro is my favorite...
I've tried several, zaterans, drakes, uncle bucks. They all taste great after dipped in buttermilk and thrown in the frydaddy!
Andy's in the red bag.
I use Andys sometimes mixed with a little Andys cajun. The Cajun is way to spicy for my taste to be used alone so i have to add just a little to my mix. I'll have to give a few of the others listed here a try as well.
Another vote for Zatarain's Crispy Southern. MMmmmm :)
I like the Lousiana in the blue bag although have not tried alot of the others. I do mix my own with yellow corn meal a little flour a little greek seasoning, seasoning salt, garlic powder and black pepper, although I hear great things hear in Oklahoma about the JR MADD's, they say its the only way to fly, i'll have to try it after hearing it a couple of times on this thread also.

louisiana in the blue bag
on a trip to loisiana on a redfish trip years ago we stopped at a little store that had ziplock bags of breader sold right over the counter. dad had to get one. it was the best dry breader any of us has ever had, and we have been trying to match it ever since. it was a perfect mix of a fine masa flour, corn meal, blackening seasonings, and some other things we cant figure. they also had coffee with just a touch of chicory in it, good eats.
andys red bag for me
My favorite is White Corn Meal Mix with some pepper...
