in my back yard I just chunk them in. It's MAYBE 3 foot by 2 foot and even though I lose a few, most stay alive
I use a big aquarium, aerate, and keep them extremely cool. I have kept them alive for a couple of weeks...and like Dondon I have some die but most stay alive.
This time of year I just keep them in a big cooler.
but, are you supposed to feed them?
I never do, but I normally don't keep them for more than a couple weeks. I'm sure you could ask the guy at you bait shop what he feeds them?
Nah, keep 'em hongry and skinny. That way when you put 'em on a hook they'll scurry about trying to find a last meal.
Wannabe...
If ya would catch some feeshes ya wouldnt have any left overs! I'm just sayin.

yes, sat, i remember now..............you'll outfished me 1 fish to none, so you do have one minnow LESS than we did, lol
thanks, guys! (except sat)
Roflmao
bwahahahaha :D
I checked mine yesterday and they have been in the cooler for 2 weeks and have only lost 1.
I fed mine gold fish food. A happy minnow will do his job better than a hungry minnow. Just ask those happy cows in cali....
With me bein the resident Minnerman, I tend to agree with Sat. But if I do buy more than I need, say I get a good deal or the girl can't count, I then don't feed em. There's enough algae in my holdin tank to keep em happy.
