ya know ive got a couple die hard cat fans for friends, and for some odd reason they are equally stoked for mar. 6th at the Fieldhouse as they were for the game at Manhattan.i keep tryin to tell em,your best chance was in Manhattan and they blew it.
i know it should be a good game but not as close as it was a few weeks ago,the wildcat fans played a HUGE part in that game and its gonna be reversed this time!!! RCJHKU
Okie Lite, MU and a loss at Home to what Hubert Davis just called the best team in the nation and it's a tie my friend... Now that's not going to happen but it's fun to dream!!!
i don't think he called them the best i know that was the topic but he changed the subject to the most impressive team two different things the way i see it we shall see
Trophy sure looked BEAUTIFULL last nite! :D:D:D Looks kinda crowded :p:p with the others. May need a bigger  case <*)}}}><
Transcript from the in-studio analysis during halftime of Oklahoma at No. 1 Kansas on Big Monday...
RECE: Are the Jayhawks the most impressive team to you?
HUBERT: Way to stretch yourself and go for the No. 1 team in the country. But, uh, I'm going to stay in the Big 12. I'm going to stay with Kansas State. What a surprise? I look like an assistant coach there with the purple tie and purple shirt, but I do, I really like Kansas State. I got an opportunity to watch them at the beginning of the year. I've just been really impressed with them on both ends of the floor. Defensively, they have a lot of size and athleticism. Then on the offensive end, they basically have two point guards in Denis Clemente and Jacob Pullen -- guards who can shoot the ball, put the ball on the floor, or penetrate and distribute. But this year, they can throw the ball down low in the paint. The transfer from UConn, Curtis Kelly, can post up and score consistently in the block and they've got guys like Wally Judge and Jamar Samuels, so a lot of versatility. Keep talking about Kansas but I like Kansas State rising up and having a great NCAA Tournament.
RECE: Look, they're very impressive but tell the truth: You picked them because Frank Martin… (stares at Hubert)
HUBERT: He looked at me like that! And I said, "OK! Fine! K-State's the winner!"
(pause)
RECE: Frank's a very nice man and a gracious host.
(Digger, Hubert and Rece dog on each other at the same time and laugh over their apparent fear of Frank's stare)
i must have been dozing a little but on the other hand hubert must of been asleep having a dream if he believed all of that
been on cruise controll all month slipped through several speed traps but must not have seen thiis one with the speed bumps in it might have been thinking about march and april forgot about feb time will tell?
Oppppps hit a bump.......Jayhawks must have been counting eggggs......opps wins before in the nest or book.
Tough day on top UK getting bounced by Rocky Top.
Wildcats better be sharp or they could in litter box ....Beat em Up...Beat em Up KSU
oh no, what did I here on espn sports. say it ain't so, let me think now how does that song go....Pants on the ground....Pants on the ground....by-the-way don't look back at who's anippin at the heels. OUCH it hurts.coach might better have another what for talk to the fellers.:D:D:D:rolleyes::rolleyes::
Well.... I told the cats not to overlook okie state also, and they didn't listen either. I still stand by my comments on earlier threads that whenever KSU has to depend on other teams to lose in order to "win" or in this case tie,,, it never works out. KU is still in the driver's seat.
Time for the cats to win out, and don't worry about what KU does. Just keep winning. Don't think about future tournaments, past seasons, or anything else that will distract them from the here and now.:D Just focus on winning Wednesday, then focus on Saturday, then take things one game at a time in the post season.
i think it was pants on backwards
I hope I did'nt step on anybodys toes with what I said, if I did I sure did'nt mean to.Just abit about me, I love all of the sports in the state.I'm truly a divided house. I married a K.U. grad many days ago with no regrets from me, I'm sure she has had different thoughts tho. Anyway. our youngest daughter went to K.U.,,,the two boys went to K.State, and the oldest daughter went to Hutch JUCO and then went to Wichita State to finish up.So ya see I'm pulling for every one of them to win everytime.Where we always have a conflict is when they play each other. So,what I do then is I always pull for the visitor, cause home team always has the up. Tomorrow night is going to be the pits because one will lose. But we have ta remember, these are two darned good programs, and as for I'm danged well proud um. thanks for your time, Jim:)
Jim it's all fun on here. Just don't tell the truth about any UK players and you will be ok. The sad thing is UK could be 0-20 or 20-0 and they will always play their best game of the season against KSU. But this KSU team has no fear, so it should be interesting.
On as side note, I am an Nickerson Grad and KSU placed me at HCC for football and the I graduated from WSU myself.
