How was Rip a Lips Restaraunt last night?
it was very good! Rip was not there the waitress (server) said he was gone to a funeral. I had a pecan crusted grouper and my buddy had a herb roasted monkfish, for appetizer we had some shrimp bite things that were out of this world good. the only down side was at the table next to us was a gathering of some really friendly fellers if you know what i mean. had to bite my tongue on them a couple of times. However, the food rating was A+.
Good deal. I told Mrs. Speck that we were going there sometime.
just look for the blue fish signs, ain't nothing there saying anything about The Reef. If it had not been for having the address and the other post where somebody mentioned it googling as the blue fish i would have been lost.

They definitely fit the description perfectly. I one point I guess one of the "guys???" goosed (or something) another one of the attendees and I swear it sounded just like when my daughter has a bunch of her friends over and they are doing all that teen age girl stuff.
Talked to Rip on the phone yesterday, he said to tell you all hello and to come on in to the new place. He's hoping he might make to it to one of the FJ's (maybe Sardis or Butla) but isn't sure yet.
He's understandably proud of the new place, everybody needs to go check it out!
(He said something about Speckhunter having an open tab for any CC folks that come in! :eek::D )
Why not! I'll just leave my credit card number on file there. All you have to do is give the secret phrase. "Speckhunter is the greatest crappie fisherman of all time." I'm not too worried about having to pay very many tabs.;)
