I want to see a couple other tiers do a couple of ultra minnows.I want to have 6 in total tiers,2 jigs a person.
1. One "threadfin Shad"
2. One any other way.
3. 1/8 oz. and smaller
Let's see if I can fill it up.Need 5 tiers doing Ultra Minnow jigs ONLY.
I didn't know they made an ultra minnow smaller than 1/8th.My 1/8 will pour hooks from 4-2/0. I just did some threadfin shad tonight on #2 red sickles. I'll get in on this.
Mine are 1/10.Good 4 more to go.

i would like to get in this swap but i dont have the mold i thought that an ultra minow mold and the flat minow were the same oops but mabey next time

If you want in on this but dont have any ultra heads, send me a PM. I'll give you enough for the swap. These are 1/10 oz whatever size hook you want, #6 to 2/0.

um... not real sure how about making one with bright colors (like a rubby red minnow, always had good luck with em') since spawn is almost here and keep with the fishy head if that sounds ok
Ruby Red Minnow it is guys.I've never even seen one before,but let me get a picture on the net and I'll try,Ok,I'm studying,see ya in a bit.
ruby red minnow is kind a pinkish red almost a peach color the crappie love'em also known as a Rosy red minnow, Fathead minnow you can find them at your local walmart lol in the fish section for like .25cents

Ok,I'll be done tonight,lol.Just painted the heads.I pulled up a picture,they sorta look like goldfish to me.Hope they are up to your standards.I'm making an extra one for me to try out on Sunday,with the 2 others.I'll try to get some crappie juice on yours Josh,lol.
I poured and painted mine,eyes are next. I'm familiar with the rosie minnows. Do I tie 3x3,nine total or do I need more?
So whats the designs??? a threadfin and then just two others of your preference? I dont really have a good color paint for a rosey my pinks and oranges are fluorescent. Guess I could briefly try to concoct something.:rolleyes:

I'm doing a threadfin,firetiger and a rosie in three different styles. I'll tie them tommorrow.Got to let the eyes cure.The eyes are 4 and 5 mm holographic gold,silver and red.

how do u attach ur eyes? super glue?
Painted the whole jig in white first,then brushed glow orange,then brushed some flame red.Got me to that color.So,I stopped,lol.Now after all that paint,I'm trying to clean the hook eyes out,1/2 hour so far.
They are stick on eyes,then I put clear nail polish over them,and fill the socket up a little.Like a new lens,they can see all the crappie very well,lol.
