Wish he made one which could hold two ducers.
I'm sure you could make an adapter
Check out the post a couple of pages back label 997 on 619....luvinfishin had what I think is a great idea mounting the transducer on a piece of angle mounted to the corrosion plate on the bottom of the motor.....I just mounted mine that way so I sure hope it works....
Has anyone priced them. Didn't see prices.
They were $119 or $109. Somewhere in that range. Pricey.

Here it is again. About $5 plus my time. No holes. :) 3/16 x 2 alum angle about 12" long to offset it from my motor. Attachment 37108
Attachment 37109

The concept is great. I already have two boards on the transom which are getting too many holes in them. About time to change them out or stop installing items on them. Nah.. I can't stop installing new items plus it's cheaper to just to buy a new board. :D
That's pretty slick there luvin. Feel free to add my endorsement to your webpage. Two wannabe thumbs way up.

How does it work at high speeds?
Absolutely, just put me down for 10% of the back end and we're good to go. :)

That s a pretty good idea. If someone wanted to they could just as easily weld a "drop" on the starboard side to locate that transducer lower so it could read high speeds.
Way to think outside the box!
exactly!
