Not really, except maybe an Ed special for good luck. Black/Dark Blue is the bomb in stained water. I personally have found no match to it. Whether this color is in Kalin Grubs, Southern Pro Grubs, Jiffy Jig Fly, Hal Fly or Uncle Buck Panfish solid body tube which is a clone of a Black/Blue Chartreuse Kalin Grub except in a solid body tube. The flies and tubes tip with a minnow and game on. I also like Black/Firetail in stained water. I am with gabulldog when in stained water keep the colors on the dark side.
PS That Kalin Chartruese Shad is really more like a Black Chartruese Triple Threat. They will bite it too in stained water. I have heard alot about Southern Pro's Red/Black Chartruese Grub in stained water although I personally have never tried it. Kmed1980 has done gave me a taste for some Sour Grape however. I will certainly try them. Run a search on Kelly Matthews post he talks about Southern Pro colors, his post are very informative. Hope this helps.
