Help me out here.
Did I read the reg's right, I can't use my trolling rig on the big four in Ms?
And I have to wear my life vest at all times on those lakes also?

Trolling rigs are legal as long as you don't exceed the pole limit. Click here for the life jacket regs. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/missi...et-policy.html
Also, I believe you are limited to two baits/lures per line.
Thanks G-3 FOR THE LIFE JACKET INFO, IT LOOKS THE SAME AS WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING.
NOW I'VE GOT A FOUR POLE RIG ON MY BOAT IS IT LEGAL?
If your boat is shorter than 16' you have to wear a pfd at all times. You can troll 5 poles per person, 2 baits per line, except Grenada where it is 3 poles per person.
Yeah, but that's only for Arkabutla, Sardis, Enid and Grenada. Don't think there's a pole restriction for non COE lakes. Hmmmm, come to think of it, I don't think the life jacket applies to non COE lakes either. Not sure about that.
Technically, the life jacket deal is a rule, not a law......yet, but I'm sure it will be soon.
Personally, I think it's a good law/rule/whatever BTW...except where they tried to enforce it originally, then backed off, while idleing/trolling. When I'm king, anything above and idle for boats under 24 ft, you will be required to have a life jacket on at all times.
Wannabe...
Down with the "KING"
He is the KING of his house when he is saying "yes dear" , "what next dear", etc, etc, while wearing his pink apron and doing his household duties. King Domestic, Lol. :D
Hey Sat...we just hijacked a thread. :D I'm sorry I just couldn't help it. :)
The KING is dead. Long live the KING.:D:D
teamroper...those life jacket regulations and the pole limits are just for the big four.
G3, you better get back on subject or else I was calling in the old sheriff (Pstone) and get some pp smacking done
Good luck on finding him, Lol. Where has he been anyway? Y'all got 5 sheriffs and I don't see any but me. You guys must be rough on them boys, Lol By the way...I did apoligize to the OP and I did try to get the thread back on track.
Thanks fellas,
So tell me why is it that everyone picks on wannabe poo is it cause he is easy? or because you can? or maybe both.
Just asking
Out
But to get it back on line, I think it is a good idea to have the jackets on when the engine in running. My boat is 19' so i dont have to worry about having it on at all times.
And i am glad i don't "have to"
Have any of you invested in the inflatables?
Plus, he pouts and whines when he don't get no tention. Nothin left to be said bout number of poles, number of baits, and life jackets. All done been spoke.
