WB probably has more gadgets than any 10 people on here combined (if you exclude DD) and still can not catch fish....poor, poor Wannabe. I will have to say he has a cool boat tho!

I couldn't catch a darn fesh when I first started and it's taken me a year and a half to get to where I can go out and MOST times, catch a good mess. Biggest thing you'll notice is the size you TB. Last Winter I was keep 8 or 9 inch fesh just to have some for dinner, now if they ain't 11 inches or so, they go back. I woulda had over 20 if I'd have kept 10 inchers Sunday

I'll have you both know that if you go back to my last 3 trips, one one of 'em I caught 2nice keepers. So there. I catch 'em so regular, I don't even bother with pics anymore and just throw 'em back. Besides, gar taste funny to me.

Welcome aboard big poppa. Just strap in and hang around for a while & you will see lots about fishing, not fishing, BS tales & much more. Thing is, you will be tempted to take in this stuff as the truth at first but, just take it in and get your sea legs for a while and you will be able to navigate throught the BS and pull out the real deal. You'll get to know members like Tritonman, Wannabe, DonDon, SatDoc, & some others that you have to watch out for. They posess much wisdom among them, but you have to watch close to make sure it's wisdom or BS. Good info from G-3, CP, Minnerman, torch, (others, don't be mad), Just sit back and relax. You'll get the hang of it quickly. Enjoy.:)
