Be sure to get one with a RUBBER net , the jigs and cranks just dont get as tangled up in them.
yeah my last one was rubber and I liked it. Got a POS Wally World special to get me by for the next couple days till I can find one
Ego rubber works great for us
I'd get the net you like ...like the rest said I prefer the rubber nets....and as a added bonus, I got a piece of 8' PVC and added to the handle. Works great

DD bought an extendable rubber net today at BPS. I forgot how much he said it was but that dude would stretch way out there and had a good size net on it.

Very nice net. The net and handle weren't but 20 bucks BUTTTTTT that picture of Bill Dance on the tag was an additional 55 dollars. LOL 75 smackaroos for the SOB. It's a 12 foot extendable, poly coated mesh, not rubber though so it's lighter. I picked up a couple of those rubber ones and you'd be worn out after a day of catching 'em.

go with a Stow Master net...they reach 8ft have a poly coated mesh net and are life time warr. they are also fully made in the usa in the good state of IA....

Here's about as good as it gets as far as detail goes Feelay. It's a cross section, not really a topo though. Note the water gets more wavy in the middle. Gottabe careful out there.

I've seen aerial pics of the lake on bing maps, just was wondering if there were any topos out there.
One other thing, them trees aren't quite as slick in real life. Gottabe careful around 'em or you'll let a branch strip you right out of the boat.
