Got a cabin reserved for thursday and friday nights. Anyone else going to be there pre-fishing? Never seen the lake or the cabins, should I bring a grill or cooker, or are there any restaurants nearby for an evening meal.

Next week, I should say.
Tough to find much of anything about the lake really. I've looked at ALL my usual places and only found a couple of things about the lake. Heck, I can't find many pictures of the lake to see what it looks like. LOL We'll find something good to eat fo sho. You know me, I ain;t missing out on a good meal
Wanna see what the lake looks like? Take a look at the FJ Calendar....January. Trees 40 yards deep on each side, wide open in the middle. Plus some docks and apparantly a glass house and a pink house somewhere on it.

here at the office. Didn't know that was washington. Isn't that where those nuts were catching Snakes with their bare hands? There's a boat landing there named Wayside
The cabins that I have stayed at at Roy's Store on the north end had grills if you wanted to grill out.
Roy's store serves meals that are dang good mornin - night. They have the minners too.
Well actually the meals at Roys store are breakfast and lunch.....I think they quit cooking at 2:00 pm But they may have changed up since I was there last. Heck call and see Pam Hammond owns Roy's here is the phone number.....662 827 2588
Phone number is 662 827 2588 There are two locations for cabins and rooms at Roys...Number one and number Two....You want to stay at the one north where the store is. The other one is at the other end of the lake...about 13 miles. The reason I say this is because they cook meals at the store and also have bait and whatever else you need.
Can't wait to take YO money as well
Old Hardware store restraunt is decent, and the Kountry MArket has a decent but very greasy breakfast. Cabins at Roys are junk or they were last summer, we actually quit staying there since I bought the pop up from rip-a-lip(that was the main reason on buying the camper). I got a buddy who has a place in the same building as Kountry Market, they fixed it up into a cabin years ago so we stay there or take the camper to Leroy Percy when we go. Best of luck to you guys, hate I cant make it
Oh yeah Kountry Market and Old hardware store grill are both down on the South end of the lake by the City ramp. If I had to stay ar Roys I would stay on the South end, rooms are better and better parking down there. These are just my oppinion though
it'll be pure luck but I'll take luck. You darn sure got it on your side my friend. Some folks have it and some don;t have feshing luck. you got it dude
Last year the cabins on the south end were stayed in by friends , said they were better than the north end ones.
Your probably right on those cabins...Its been 4 years since I was down there. We used to go down there a lot but the last few years most of my road trips have been to TN either Reelfoot or DaleHollow.
Which ramp are we putting in for the FJ? And what are the directions perszckerly?
Where's Bigger when he's needed?

I dont have a dog in this one, but the city ramp on the south end is the only free launch ramp on the lake that is a public ramp.
North ramp by the store!!!! Decided long time ago.
little store up the road from the public ramp and Kountry Market usually has some. If not got to go to Cordells or Roys(North)
Updeted info on launch site in new thread......Mike will have plenty of minnows.
we stayed there 4 years ago south end. cabins were so dirty if u got up at nite to use bathroom your feet were black with dirt. someone should call health dept.
