she also responded to the rumor of more stimulus payments this year, if any stimulus payments are sent out it wont be much and they will be few and far between, she said from what shes be hearing from IRS is if you do get a stimulus it wont be enuff to buy a new tv, but maybe enuff to get a tank of gas.
As you know,last year was tough.The wife tried to work on it on her good days,she actually enjoyed it because she knew what she was doing and it made her feel productive.We were using turbo tax.She would use a laptoptop at the hospital,then I would take it home or e-mail it to my daughters house.
I already hired an accountant when I got a letter last fri. saying I owed 1,800$ more from last year.:(Couldn't pull up a copy because of multiple passwords and e-addys.Spent a long time on the phone with the IRS-once I got a real person,he was actually very helpful,and faxed a copy as we were talking,I was surprised!
This year will be a mess also,was out of state a long time,wife passed,had to refinance the home,my daughter and 3 grandkids moved in with me,then my sister-in-law,then her adoption was finalized so another kid added to the mix...whew!!!
I'm lucky I have all the records,but my filing system sucks,this bag,that closet??maybe in the suitcase?Whats that by the ammo,over there under that clock..:):)

Well,think I got it all done.Got a bill for 1800$ for mistakes on my 08 return-the account redid it and filed an ammended return..knocked my liability down to 1000$.
Haven't heard from state,but I will so we redid that also,will owe them 600$.
Did my 09 federal taxes and am getting about 1800$ back..
so I owe back about 1600$ and am getting 1800$,guess what she charged me....200$ Bwhaaahaaaa..its a wash!!!
Wasn't able to file state yet,the site was down,hope I'll get a few dollars back for my spoonbill trip.
I love how every year they say they have simplified the tax code...yea,right!
