I got some goose neck feathers and a squirrel tail.
put them two together and see what you come up with. I'd bet a buck you could tie up a good brim jig for sure....
Alright, we'll get a few practice rounds in and then do a theme.
i got you all beat lol. i been tying since 430 this evening. i sell jigs to local paylakes for trout fishermen. i sell them for 50 cents they get 1.25 out of them when they resale them.

I tied some already and I'm all hooked up to go fish in the AM. Tied some 2 tone bucktail, using the light and dark hair on a given tail. Pink and orange were the colors of the day. Also took the maribou off the base of a big blue hackle feather and tied a 1/32 little jig , came out surprisingly well. wish I could stay up and join y'all but I'm gonna get some rest. Have fun!!
I'm still tying and thinking about some patterns. I just put that bucktail in a glass of water. It doesn't have a lot of action but it has a good profile. Gonna test em out tomorrow I'm thinkin'.
Yeah Yeeeaah Attica. Got Pank sounds good. :D
Is there such thing as a "natural" pink jig..... thinking....
Here ya go.I made a pink one,lol.

Figures you sneek in here JJJ as I am in the process of stealing your thoughts. :D I love the duck feathers now, even have put some on the bottom side of clousers and looks good. Hope the fishes like em.
OSJ - Thats PINK! Looks good to me.
AZ,that chenille with the chartreuse looks like a color they call peacock. Good job.Nice pank,Okie.
They are coming faster now, lol. Here's more of a pink one, this chenille is better.I'm going fishing Sunday,so this is a good chance for me.
JJJ I'm going to try to tie some of the feathers you sent me,never did a feather before, lol.Should be interesting.
That pank combo looks great,Attica. All kinds of fish will eat a duck jig. I did my first one over 15 years ago and they ate the feathers off it.Been tying with them ever since.Maybe the oils in the feathers, who knows.
here's my other ties for tonight: here's one for Attica and you shad chasers. I built up the underbody with real tight wraps of 20lb Big Game, drenched it in nail polish, then tightly wrapped the tinsel chenille, and it is a solid dude.
