is a tough ole guy! He hung in all day without so much as a whimper. Was 12 degrees at launch, boat was frozen to the trailer. We fished all day and caught a few. I think cowboy had a good time.:)Attachment 35532

Congrats! I was all excited and rubbing it in my friends faces saying I was leaving the artic of Ms to come back to school in Fl and fish the warm weather. Well they keep texting my lauging their tails off b/c here the lows are in the low 20's and highs in the mid 30's since I came back. Sad thing is they dont appear to be getting better anytime soon.
No more fat jokes anybody that can go fishing all day in those temps is to tuff to be messing with. Great catch man.
Way to go guys.....your a lot tougher than I am.
Good job Cowboy and Feelay.
Good job!
Feelay, I gots a question for you. I suspect you wore your Muck boots out on a day like that.. and my question is about those boots.
Did you buy the same size Muck as you take in a street shoe or did you go up a size or two? I'm seriously considering getting a pair.
Thanks for that. I had read several reviews that were great, same story as yours, but I read a few where folks were complaining of cold feet.
I had remembered a long time ago someone from Canada saying they always bought their Sorels a size or two bigger otherwise they would have cold feet. That is what drove me to ask.
I guess it has to do with trapped air and room for the water vapor to move away from the skin surface.
I have several Muck shoes and love em. I hunt, work, fish and go play in them and havent found a negative side of them yet. I wear same size for boot and shoe
Dealing with the cold like that, you deserve to limit out
Good Job!
There is no justice in this world. X2

Hey feelay do you think you could find enough goodness in your heart to take wannabe out and show him how to catch fish like that?:D

Wait, you mean Cowboy caught some of those fish? Really? That's great. I thought you just took him along as a belly warmer.

You guys deserve a pat on the back for sticking out them conditions. Great job!
I got a question Feelay....In 13 degree temps....what keeps the water in your outboard foot from freezing? I have heard stories about water freezing and stopping waterpump flow and burning up motors. Anything to this?
Thats awesome great catch!
I ain't never....Belly Warmer...lol ...Why you ole miner drowe'er you. You got a lot of nerve, living off your two boys the way you do, plus yo wife....''tired of it''.
Fee-Lay is the only reason you can stay at home... cause that's the only agreement yo wife would agree to, let you stay around to the house, to pay the bills at the house...... so Fill-lay would stay comfortable.
I know this is heartbreaking to you, BUT...Someone must tell ya, buddy. I just hate that I am that person....But... Get over it, Fee- Lay is a better crappie fisherman than you, snapper head get over it.....
Your Friend ...crappie cowboy
